What documents do I need to provide?

A valid Uk driving licence and either a code or a print off of your driving licence information available from https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence. We also need 2 utility bills from your current address in the name of the driver. To speed the process up you can download and print off the insurance document Hirers Questionnaire Form.

Is the horsebox available on the dates I need?

Contact Vicky to see if your dates are available. We will do our best to accommodate you wherever we can.

Can I collect early on a 6 hour booking?

Unfortunately a 6 hour booking is for 6 hours from collection to return, if you need more flexible collection we would advise a full day hire.

I damaged the vehicle but it wasn’t my fault.

Accidents happen, but the vehicle must be returned in the condition it was collected. We don’t take a deposit upfront but if the vehicle requires bodyshop repair we will advise you after a post hire inspection.

I was unable to refuel as the garage was closed.

No problem, just let us know and we will do it the following day where possible and send the invoice via email with no extra refueling charge. A refuel by us will be charged at £2 per litre.

What is the payload of the vehicle?

The payload on the current vehicle is 1150kg. This means 1150kg is the total weight it can carry, which includes horses, fuel, tack and passengers. It is your legal responsibility to ensure you stay within this.

Do you charge extra after a certain mileage?

No, but our vehicle is not insured to travel outside of the UK.

Is my deposit refundable?

No, the deposit is non-refundable unless we cannot honour your booking due to a mechanical failure on the vehicle or other physical unavailability.
